Birth to Five Matters

Our curriculum also considers birth to 5 matters. Its helps to guide us to recognise typical progression in development and learning and has been grouped into ranges. These ranges are used to closely describe a child’s development and learning and then consider the suggestions for adults within that range (or earlier ranges) to plan to support continued progress. It can also help to identify when children may need additional support.
